Most Pomegranates Are Coming From Israel Now March 21, 2024
A large influx of pomegranates are now coming from Israel, even when the country of origin is not listed on the packaging. Many fruit platters and fruit mixes contain pomegranate seeds. Shoppers need to be on guard. If no country of origin is listed, at this time, you will want to remove teruma and maaaser from pomegranates or forgo this wonderful fruit.... read more |
